We are delighted to announce the formal launch of Phrebgen & Ravencore as a cultural equity mental health consultancy. Founded by Bilha W. Njuguna and Wahito M. Kangere, P. & R. exists to support NHS mental health providers, integrated care systems, and third-sector organisations to implement the Patient and Carer Race Equality Framework (PCREF) with rigour, depth, and genuine community partnership.

Our launch marks the beginning of a sustained commitment to transforming how mental health services work for racialised and culturally diverse communities across the UK. We look forward to working alongside organisations ready to move beyond compliance and into meaningful, lasting change.

The decision to establish Phrebgen & Ravencore was not made lightly. It was made because we have seen, first-hand, the gap between policy ambition and lived reality for Black African and other Black communities navigating mental health services. PCREF represents a genuine opportunity for change — but only if organisations are supported to implement it with the seriousness it demands.

P. & R. is our answer to that gap. We bring together professional expertise, lived experience, and a deep commitment to equity — not as a consultancy that parachutes in with generic solutions, but as a long-term partner invested in your organisation's transformation.
